Cheltenham Walks
We're only minutes from Cheltenham town centre and the open skies and green grass of Pittville Park. Wander into town to visit some of the wonderful independent restaurants and cafes, indulge in a spot of shopping or enjoy a family picnic in the park. If you'd like something a bit more challenging, there's plenty of countryside walks within easy reach of Cotswold Grange.
Crickley Hill
Where – GL4 8JY
Crickey Hill is a country park boasting spectacular views, with a diverse wildlife system and it is recognised as a Site of Special Scientific Interest for the fantastic variety of wildflowers.
This walk is perfect for history lovers as you can explore the Iron Age Fort, which is still visible today. Crickley Hill is also suitable for dogs and families, there are some restricted areas due to the wildlife and protected wildflowers so make sure to bring a lead for your four-legged friends.
Leckhampton Loop

The Leckhampton Loop walk covers a varied segment of the Cotswold Way, including woodland, grassland, and even Victorian quarries, all of which are found within less than fives miles. This beautiful walk typically takes 2.5 to 3 hours to complete and is difficulty rated moderate, as there are steep sections.
Cleeve Hill Common Ring

As Cleeve Hill is located on the North-Eastern edge of Cheltenham it boasts gorgeous views of Cheltenham and the surround areas, this is because Cleeve Hill is the highest point in Gloucestershire.
The Cleeve Hill Common Ring can either be 4 or 6 miles, depending on which route you take, and is breathtaking, walking along hilltops, over streams and through woodlands. The 6 mile route can take 3.3 to 4.5 hours to complete with the 4 mile route taking 2 to 3 hours to walk.

Broadway Tower Circular Walk

If you’re looking for beautiful views and a fantastic family picnic location, this is the walk for you! Perfect for those who love panoramic views. Starting in the village of Broadway, known for the Broadway Tower which is the second highest vantage point in the Cotswolds.
The Broadway Tower Circular Walk will take about 2 to 3 hours to complete and is just under 7 kilometres, this route does have hills!
Castle Combe

Castle Combe is a beautiful Cotswold location, a village brimming with character and charm. With greenery climbing the walls and all the classic amenities we’ve come to expect from a Cotswold village; an old pub, manor house and quaint streets.
As this is a circular walk you start and finish in Castle Combe, passing through beautiful English countryside through the span of the walk. The sites to see include a meandering river, magnificent forest, and a wooded glen, of course with many more natural wonders to see along the way. This route will take around 2.5 – 3 hours to complete.
Minster Lovell Ruins Walk

This walk is perfectly suited for those who enjoy a slower pace and want to go for a stroll in the beautiful Cotswold countryside, superbly matched for lazy stroll with loved ones and summertime picnics.
This walk has all manors to sites to see, including the ruins of a manor house which neighbours a perfectly intact church. This route also has two wild swimming spots, for those who enjoy a walk and swim. This is a fantastic walk to enjoy on a sunny day, the route takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours to complete.
