Cheltenham Music Festival
Launched in 1945, the Cheltenham music festival celebrates the love of music, whilst mainly focusing on classical. ‘This rich and diverse programme takes advantage of the beautiful Cotswolds surroundings to create a magical musical tour featuring the world's best classical talent.’ The festival spans eight days each July and takes place at multiple venues across Cheltenham.
Cheltenham Literature Festival
Cheltenham Literature Festival was the world’s first literature festival. Paving the way for celebrating the written word whilst also creating a space to present fantastic new voices into the space, the festival quite often hosts some of the world's most influential writers.
Held each October and lasting for 10 days the Cheltenham Literature Festival has a mix of free and ticketed events with family-friendly and fringe celebrations placed throughout Cheltenham.
Cheltenham Jazz Festival
Cheltenham Jazz Festival takes place each May and has a renowned reputation for bringing the best artists together to perform and celebrate all things Jazz. The festival celebrates the many different genres of Jazz and invites both jazz icons and new artists to orchestrate unique performances, guaranteeing the programme has something to suit all tastes.
Cheltenham Science Festival
Cheltenham Science Festival is held each June hosting some of the world’s greatest scientists, futurologists and thought leaders, helping visitors make sense of the world.
Every year the programme is specially curated to spark curiosity. Alongside ticketed activity, organisers recently introduced VOICEBOX, a visually striking space that's home to free events celebrating the best young talent across a broad range of topics. There's also a free digital series of activities for all the family on site.
